Huddle Up for Life
The first ever Huddle Up for Life fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2. Sign-up for a motorcycle and classic car poker run will begin at 11 a.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 803 N. 28th St. in Orange. Entry is $20 per vehicle and $5 rider. AAUW Book drive
The Orange Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is beginning its annual drive to collect “gently used” books for their scholarship fund. All books, fiction, non-fiction, hardbound or paper back are needed. Also needed are audio and video tapes, CDs, and DVDs. These may be delivered to the Mann Insurance Agency, located at 1505 Park Ave. at 15th Street, during regular business hours. If unable to deliver your donations, you may call 409-886-5739 or 409-886-2194 to arrange for pickup.
