ORANGE — SE Texas Senior Celebration and Consumer Expo

OC Democratic Party

The Orange County Democratic Party monthly meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Orange County Commissioners Courtroom, 234 S. 6th St. in Orange. The party is recruiting volunteers, precinct chairs and precinct captains. Those interested can either attend the meeting or call 409-882-9620.

Casino Trip

The members of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority are sponsoring a charter bus trip to

Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, La., on Saturday, Nov. 9. The bus will leave at 10 a.m. from Northway Shopping Center in Orange. Return time is approximately 8 p.m. Advance payment of $10 is required. Call 409-670-8612 or 409-313-0124 for reservation.

BC-Orangefield Rotary

The Bridge City-Orangefield Rotary Club meets at noon, every Thursday, at the Bridge City Community Center.

Pool Tournament

VFW Post 8246, 2110 S. Main in Vidor, invites the public to its weekly pool tournament every Friday night. Ages 21 and older only. Call 409-768-1482 for info.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles. Aerie 2523, located at 803 N. 28th Street, Orange, Texas host a pool tournament each Friday beginning at 8 p.m. The community is invited to come meet the members of Aerie 2523 and join in the fun. For more information leave a message after 4 p.m. at 409-886-7381.

Bulls and Barrels Rodeo

The LC-M Honey Bears will hold its 9th Annual Bulls and Barrels Rodeo starting at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 at Cowboy Church of Orange County Arena, 673 FM 1078 in Orange. Admission is $5 per person. Rodeo contestants should call Brittney Wacasey at 817-253-3042 for info.

Street Party

A street party will be held from noon, Saturday, Oct. 26 until midnight at Lakewood Mall, 500 South St. in Vidor. Event will include vendors, children’s costume contest, candy, live music and possibly an adult costume contest that evening. Event is free and public is invited to attend.
