Unity in Community Health Fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. featuring free flu shots, free blood pressure screenings, free aids and hepatitis C testing along with other free services and information on preventative care and services available in our area. Friends of the Triangle AIDS Network invite supporters to come to the “Cabaret” for TAN’s annual Paint the Town Red gala Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Beaumont Country Club. Festivities begin with a champagne-cocktail reception, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. The live auction begins at 7:15 p.m., with a buffet at 8 p.m. and the live auction to resume as guests continue dining. Hunter Safety Class
Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunter Education Safety Class is from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28 and Tuesday, Oct. 29. Attendance at both session is mandatory. The Friends of the Bridge City Public Library are taking for donations for the rummage sale that will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 in the library expansion.
