Saturday Adventure Series
Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, 2111 W. Park in Orange, will hold its Saturday Adventure Series from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 6. “Bird Ballet” will focus on the graceful activities of wading birds in Shangri La’s state-of-the-art heronry. Art Association Classes
Classes will be held for for Port Arthur Art Association for the month of April and two weeks in May with a new teacher for the group. Ann Hoffpauir will be the instructor and the class will paint a landscape. If you are a member of the guild, it is $4 to paint, and $5 if you are not a member. The class meets each Friday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive, from 12:30 until 2:30. Please bring your usual paints and brushes, and whatever canvas size you desire. Lutcher Stark Class Reunion
Attention all Tigers! The Lutcher Stark High School Classes of 1953 and 1955 will be hosting a reunion Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange. Nederland Art Guild classes are held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive near the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur. Cost is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. During the month of March, Ann Hoffpauir of Orange will be the instructor.
