Beat the Lunch Box Blues

The Mighty Pirates 4-H Club is selling the famous Durham-Ellis pecans from Comanche, Texas, and is accepting orders till Oct. 12. Pecans will be available for pickup before Thanksgiving. Items availabe are raw pecans, flavor pecans, specialty nuts and mixes at various prices. Raw pecans are $9 for a 1 lb bag, $28 for a 3 lb box and $43 for a 5 lb box. Village of the Nativity canceled
Cold temperatures and rain prevented the North Orange Baptist Church, 4775 North 16th Street, Orange, from setting up for the third annual Village of the Nativity, causing the event to be canceled for this year.
