Prostate Cancer Support Group
The Gift of Life will welcome the Men Against Cancer Prostate Cancer support group for a meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 680 Calder in Beaumont for a discussion about the Affordable Health Care Act & Medicare. Nominations for Annual Meeting
The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Citizen of the Year, 2013 Non Profit Community Service Award, and 2013 Community Service Business Award. All nominations will be due by noon, Tuesday, Nov. 12. Awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner on Dec 10. Friends of Library Fall Sale
The annual fall sale by the Friends of the Vidor Public Library will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Mellie Nagai Room of the Vidor Public Library, 440 E. Bolivar. Items include books, plants, a white elephant table, jewelry, magazines and baked goods.
