Bloomin’ Crazy Plant Sale
The Orange County Master Gardener Association of Orange will hold its annual Bloomin’ Crazy Plant Sale from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday, March 29 at Jewel Cormier Park, 8235 FM 1442 in Orangefield. A variety of plants from annuals, perennials, Texas SuperStars, Natives, vines, butterfly, house plants, tropicals, lilies, citrus, shrubs, trees, vegetables including herbs and a huge selection of tomato and pepper plants. There will be many hard-to-find plants also available. Vendors selling bonsai plants, and unique gifts will be available along with a composting demonstration booth, Master Gardeners to answer horticulture related questions and a garden flea market. Mystery Dinner Theater
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will hold its 4th annual mystery dinner fundraiser at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 29 at the Bridge City Community Center for adults only ages 21 and older featuring the production of “A Dangerous Night on a Desert Isle.” Tickets are $40 per person or $300 for a table of 8.

Crime Victims Candlelight Vigil
The Jefferson County Crime Victims’ Coalition will host its 24th Annual Crime Victims’ Candlelight Vigil Thursday at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 10 at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1149 Pearl St. in Beaumont, in the Jury Impaneling Room. Crime victims, their families and friends are invited to participate in the vigil. The event will honor crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. National Crime Victim’s Rights Week is April 6-12. The theme is “30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice.”
