American Legion Post 49, 108 Green Ave., Orange, will hold a plate lunch fundraiser from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, January 9. The cost is $8. Port Arthur Art Association
Port Arthur Art Association will have class from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the Texas Artists Museum on Friday, January 3. The museum is located at 3501 Cultural Center Drive, near the Bob Bowers Civic Center. Dot Chauvin will be the instructor and the class will last for six weeks. Roses will be the subject matter this time, and if you have any pictures of roses, please bring them to class as reference material. Bring your usual supplies and a canvas no larger than a 16 x 20. Nederland Art Guild
The Nederland Art Guild will resume classes on Tuesday, January 7, at the Texas Artists Museum, located at 3501Cultural Center Drive, near the Bob Bowers Civic Center. The time will be from 2:30 PM until 4:30 PM, and Dot Chauvin will be the instructor. The class will do roses and since it will last for one month only, please bring a small canvas; probably an 11 x 14, or 14 x 18. Please bring any pictures you have of roses to use as a reference, or one that you would like to paint. Bring your usual supplies. The cost is $4 for members of NAG, and $5 for non-members.
