Annual Book Sale next week

ORANGE — The Annual Book Sale hosted by Friends of the Orange Public Library (FOPL) is here.

The event is scheduled to kick-off 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23.

The first evening is for Friends members only, however, membership will be available at the door.

There is no location requirement for membership and a library card is not required. Membership applications are available a the Orange County Library circulation desk throughout the year.

The event will be open to the public 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday, April, 25 and 10 a.m. - Noon, Friday, April 26.

Book bags will also be available for purchase during the event.

The group sponsors the Summer Reading Program, Young Adult Program as well as the Annual Book Sale at the library and the Scholastic Book Sale.

The organization is also responsible for the color copier inside the library for public use.

Residents interested in working with the organization are invited to attend the sale or leave their contact information at the circulation desk of the library.
