BC lifters compete at Nederland Meet

The Bridge City Powerlifting Team competed at the Nederland Invitational on Thursday.  The girls came in second place and the boys came in fourth place.  The individual results are as follows.

Girls: Josie Watts placed fourth in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 365 pounds; Maggie Garcia placed third in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 575 pounds; Sadie Stone placed first in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 585 pounds; Hannah Kincannon placed fourth in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 515 pounds; Ruth Hamilton placed fifth in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 495 pounds; Lacey Pender placed second in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 745 pounds; Hailey Powell placed fifth in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 390 pounds; Gracie Fontenot placed first in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 645 pounds; Jadyn Cunningham placed second in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 610 pounds; Chloe LeJeune placed first in her weight-class by lifting a total weight of 800 pounds.

Boys Results:

Brendin Shomo placed second in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 1,005 pounds; Luis Zuniga placed third in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 865 pounds; Josh Fuselier placed fourth in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 845 pounds; Garrett Ashworth placed third in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 785 pounds; Adam Snyder placed third in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 1,145 pounds; Manuel Gomez placed fourth in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 1,125 pounds; Jack Fontenot placed first in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 1,365 pounds; Santos Garcia placed second in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 1,255 pounds; Trenton Roccaforte placed third in his weight-class by lifting a total weight of 715 pounds.

Both teams will be sending lifters to the Regional Meets happening in the next coming weeks.
