PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 6:15a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a one vehicle rollover crash on Tulane Road in Orange County.  The crash occurred near Highway 62.

 Initial reports indicate that a 1995 Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Tulane Road.  For an unknown reason, the vehicle traveled off the roadway and rolled over several times before coming to rest.

The driver, 53-year-old John Suire of Vidor, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital.  His injuries did not appear to be life threatening.  Suire was the only occupant in the vehicle and he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

At this time, there are no further details to be released.
