ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield girls and boys basketball teams will be hosting the Bill Tennison Tournament Thursday through Saturday.

The girls bracket will have two pools.

Pool A will consist of Orangefield, Nederland, FTCA, Jasper and Liberty while Pool B will have West Orange-Stark, Evadale, Hardin-Jefferson, Vidor and Port Neches-Groves.

Games Thursday at 8 a.m. will be Liberty vs. Nederland (new gym) and PN-G vs. WO-S (old gym); Games at 11 a.m. will be Evadale vs. Hardin-Jefferson (new gym) and WO-S vs. Vidor (old gym); Games at 12:30 p.m. will be Orangefield vs. Liberty (new gym) and Nederland vs. FTCA (old gym). Games at 3:30 p.m. will be FTCA vs. Jasper (3:30 p.m.) and Evadale vs. PN-G (old gym). Games at 6:30 p.m. will be Orangefield vs. Jasper (new gym) and Hardin-Jefferson vs. Vidor (old gym).

Games Friday at 8 a.m. will be Evadale vs. WO-S (new gym) and PN-G vs. Vidor (old gym). Games at 11 a.m. will be Hardin-Jefferson vs. PN-G (new gym) and Liberty vs. Jasper (old gym). Games at 12:30 will pit Orangefield vs. FTCA (new gym) and Evadale vs. Vidor (old gym). Nederland will play Jasper at 2 p.m. in the new gym while Liberty will take on FTCA at 3:30 p.m. in the old gym. Games at 5 p.m. will include Orangefield vs. Nederland (new gym) and Hardin-Jefferson vs. WO-S (old gym).

After Friday, the teams will be divided into a Gold Bracket and Silver Bracket for Saturday. The top two teams out of each pool will compete in the Gold Bracket (semifinals). Semifinal No. 1 will be at 11 a.m. and the Semifinal No. 2 will be at 12:30 p.m. The championship game is slated for 5 p.m.

The boys bracket will have two pools.

Pool A will consist of Orangefield, Legacy Christian, Woodville and Liberty while Pool B will have La Marque, FTCA, Jasper and the Beaumont West Brook JV.

Games at 9:30 a.m. Thursday will be Orangefield vs Woodville (new gym) and Legacy vs. Liberty (old gym). Games at 2 p.m. will be La Marque vs. Jasper (new gym) and FTCA vs. West Brook JV (old gym). Games at 5 p.m. will be Orangefield vs. Legacy (new gym) and Woodville vs, Liberty (old gym).

Games at 9:30 a.m. Friday will be La Marque vs. FTCA (new gym) and Jasper vs. West Brook JV (old gym). Games at 2 p.m. will be West Brook JV vs. La Marque (new gym) and Jasper vs. FTCA (old gym). Games at 6:30 p.m. will pit Orangefield vs. Liberty (new gym) and Legacy vs. Woodville (old gym).

On Saturday, the fourth-place pool game will be at 8 a.m., the third-place pool game will be at 9:30 a.m.; the second-place pool game will be at 2 p.m. and the championship game will be at 6:30 p.m. All games Saturday will be at the new gym.

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville boys will be competing in the Hardin-Jefferson Marathon Thursday through Saturday while the Bridge City boys will participate in the Central Heights Tournament.
