Bulldogs get past Bears, 53-44

NEDERLAND — The Nederland Bulldogs toppled the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears 53-44 Monday night in non-district action at Bulldog Gym.
Katon Brown powered the Bears (1-2) with a double-double as he notched 16 points while snagging 10 rebounds. Cole Frost chimed in with 12 points while Braden Bridges added 10.
Rayford led the Bulldogs with 18 points while Hefner contributed 14.
The Bears return to action next Tuesday when they visit Woodville.
