According to the National Weather Service in Lake Charles, the Sabine River is falling at Burkeville and Bon Wier, but is expected to hold steady near Deweyville and Orange throughThursday. Deweyville will be between 31.0 and 31.5 feet, while Orange will be around 8 feet. This means areas from Deweyville to Orange will remain in major flood category through at least Thursday.

The Neches River is slowly falling, from Town Bluff to Evadale and Beaumont. It also appears the Neches River is falling as far south as the Rainbow Bridge near Bridge City. Water levels on the Neches River will slowly fall through Thursday, but remain above major flood category from north of I-10 in Beaumont down to Bridge City.
Both Village Creek near Kountze and Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake/Bevil Oaks are falling. Village Creek is in minor flood, but Pine Island Bayou is falling slower, and will remain in major flood category through Tuesday.
