It was an amazing season for Southeast Texas baseball.

Port Neches-Groves won the Class 5A State Championship, while Big Sandy came up just short in the Class 2A title game.

West Orange-Stark rolled to an undefeated District 22-4A season and was joined by Bridge City in the Class 4A Region III semifinals.

Further proof is evident as so many local players were named to the Texas Sports Writer’s All-State teams.
