JASPER— The West Orange-Stark Mustangs got off to a superb start to crank up the season as they went a perfect 4-0 in the Jasper Tournament.

The Mustangs defeated Lumberton 5-1 with Jack Dallas getting the win on the hill. They toppled host Jasper 6-2 as Tre’ Bernard snagged the victory. The Mustangs romped Kirbyville 11-4 as Kaleb Ramsey nailed down the win and WO-S wrapped it up with a 6-2 victory over Livingston with Chad Dallas earning the victory.

KJ Miller sparked the offense throughout the victories as he notched seven hits, scor4ed six runs and swiped five steals.

Ryan Ragsdale posted five hits and drove in five runs. BB Tezeno collected five hits and picked up six steals. Jack Dallas had three hits and had five RBI while Chad Dallas had three hits.

The Mustangs will compete in the Evadale Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
