PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 1:40pm today, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call that a white male had walked into the Mauriceville Family Pharmacy located at 10897 Hwy 12 in Mauriceville and demanded prescription medication.

The pharmacy employees said the male displayed a knife and told them to give him medication.  He was described as a white male wearing jeans, a long sleeve Tshirt, and an LSU ball cap.  The employees complied and the male was
given several bottles of prescription medication.  The male then left and
was seen by a witness leaving in a small silver car.
