LITTLE CYPRESS — The Orangefield Lady Bobcats competed at the LC-M powerlifting meet on Thursday and came home with the first-place team trophy. Placing first was Brooke Morphew (148’s) with 734 lbs., Skylar Hamons (165’s) with 675 lbs. Second-place lifters were Krista Wheeler, Bailey Cady, Madison Taylor, and Kaitlin Gordon. Other lifters placing were Britton Edgerly, Kayla Gordon, and Julia Droll.

The Bobcat Powerlifting team also competed at the LC-M powerlifting meet on Thursday. The following lifters placed first: Josh Pennington (123)’s with 640 lbs. and Austin Moore (198’s) with a meet high 1,495 lbs. Other lifters who placed are Adam Jacobs, Jake Bradley, Aaron Galitz, and Luke Padilla. The Bobcats will compete at the Silsbee Powerlifting Meet on Thursday.
