Special to The Leader

ORANGE — The Orange Stationer is under new ownership as of November 1, 2015. After 34 years, Henry Seals will be transitioning to the next exciting stage of his life, and Paul and Kim Dickerson of Orange will have the privilege of serving you further.

The Orange Stationer began in August of 1952 by W.B. Waltman and his wife who owned it until 1963 when Pete Parker purchased the business. The business moved to its current location in 1973 and in 1981 was purchased by Henry and Ann Seals. Over the last 34 years, Henry has served the community well, including reopening just 5 days after Hurricane Ike to supply his customers with items needed to reignite the local economy and begin recovery.

Paul and Kim Dickerson bring a wealth of experience to the business. Both grew up in Orange and raised their family here. Paul is a graduate of Lamar and has 28 years of retail experience at multiple levels including regional experience in an Office Supply Superstore chain the last 13 years. Together with the dedicated staff they bring over 116 years of experience to our community in Office Supplies and Furniture.

Paul and Kim are deeply ingrained in the community serving locally in The Little Cypress Lions, CASA, The Orange Chamber and 9th & Elm Church of Christ.

Stop by anytime as Henry plans to remain a consultant during the transition, and the new owners would love to meet you. And for those of you wondering, ERGO the Orange Stationer mascot is excited about the future!
