Man injured in auto-pedestrian collision

PRESS RELEASE — On 10-04-2015 at 16:23, officers of the Orange Police were dispatched to the 2400 blk. of 16th Street in regards to an auto-pedestrian accident. Upon arrival at 16:25, officers found a 43 year old white male resident of Orange County in the northbound outside lane of traffic. He had been struck by a northbound SUV driven by a white female. The Orange Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance Service responded to the location and the male subject was transported to Baptist Hospital–Orange. He was then flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. His condition is unknown at this time. There have been no citations issued or charges filed pending the completion of the investigation.
